The great festival of Spanish cinema celebrated its thirtieth anniversary this past Saturday and, as usual, the guests, winners and other celebrities made their particular parade through the Red carpet in their best clothes although, it is true, not all of them knew how to rise to the occasion in styling.
Here are the hits and misses of the Goya Gala dresses 2016:
Amaia Salamancaof Pronovias and complements of bvlgariShe was looking spectacular and the beaded neckline on her back was the center of attention.
Victoria April with a design of Jean Paul Gaultier He wanted to go original but he screwed up thoroughly and ended up being an imitation of Disco Stu that has given a lot to talk about… With how cute this girl is!
Penelope Cruzfaithful to dresses with a “bandless” neckline, wore a design of Versace. Correct, no more. We have seen her much prettier on other occasions.
Cayetana Guillen Cuervo wore a low-cut design with Lorenzo Caprile. Despite some criticism, I think the dress is very flattering on her and stylizes her figure, which together with the hairstyle gives her a very 20s air.
Natalia Molinathe winner of the night, of George Hobeka, accentuates its innocent look with a white embroidery design in the form of small flowers. Flawless.
Juliette Binoche commitment to the Spanish firm loewe. More than shining like a star, it shines like a sardine. The tones and the line of the dress do not favor her and neither does the hairstyle. Bad luck.
Emma and Adriana OzoresThey did not shine on the red carpet or on stage, perhaps because they wanted to give the spotlight to their uncle, Mariano Ozores, who received the Goya de Honor in this edition.
Isabella Preysleras always radiant with a design of naem khan and clutch of Jimmy Choo, happily accompanied by her inseparable Mario Vargas Llosa. Is it true that she has made a pact with the devil?
Ursula Coberó wore a Theresa Helbig in maroon velvet. Sober and elegant, although somewhat splayed out in front of the flashes…
Macarena Gomezalso of Theresa Helbig and clutch of Salvatore Ferragamovery original and risky, but perhaps too much with that hairstyle and… that companion… Watch out for the slippers embroidered with octopuses… It’s priceless…
Maria Leonwore a dress Leandro Cano, with a very original design. The mistake was the makeup, it seemed that I had dark circles.
Inma Cuestaalso opted for Theresa Helbig, but with those hairs she looked like the girl with the curve…. Disaster…
Manuela Vellesdress Cortana and jewelry of all. Maybe if the dress is a different color… Not because she’s superstitious, but because it doesn’t suit her, even though the dress was cute.
Barbara Lennieopted for a nude pink design from Jorge Acuna. Her dress looks spectacular on her and looks like the female version of the Oscar statuette. It is what is called visualizing success… Good luck next time!
clear lakeof George ChakraThe color is a hit and the oblique lines of the dress enhance her figure. Success!.
Miriam Diaz Arocawith design of Un1kos by Carlos Nieves. It doesn’t suit her at all, so many lines and shine give her too much volume and she looks like a Freixenet bubble.
Silvia Abascalimpeccable with his Ellie Saab. It fits her perfectly and it seems that instead of walking she was floating down the red carpet.
Yolanda Ramosof Marco Souza, neither the hairstyle, nor the color of the dress… Some critics say that she looked like a stripper from Las Vegas and it is not for less, too ornate and too many openings, lace, the robe, the shiny belt… Too much, Yolanda…
Goya Toledodressed in Caroline Herrera New York, classic and very fine. The truth is that this girl is beautiful with anything. Great!
Nieves Alvarezof George Chakra Couture. Very strong with colors and design, but she fits like a glove.
veronica sanchez with design of The 2nd Skin Co. The dress is pretty, but that size… not long, not short, not midi, it seems to be too big for her… Too bad…
Leticia Dolera with dress of Dolores Promises Heavenin an attempt to emulate a Greek goddess… The dress is fine, nothing more… but that makeup color does not favor her at all…
Paula Ortizdressed in Ulises Merida, mismatched with the dress, the director seems to be wrapped in the curtain of Count Dracula’s castle. Will she be related to the Cullens?
Luisa Gavasaalso of Ulises Merida, spectacular. At the risk of sounding like the Spanish version of Cruella de Vil, she is sober and very elegant. The large flower on the belt gives the touch to the look and the hairstyle is the best. There is no age to be the most fashionable.
Pilar Barden… Did you forget that they were the Goyas? Pretty much the same look as last year.
Belen Ruedaof Rosa Clara, very pretty but perhaps too wedding…. Of course, her hairstyle favors her a lot.
Of course, there are dresses for all tastes and, in general, our actresses and tops of the Spanish cinema have been quite successful, except for some cases worth studying… As usual, there has been everything about the Red carpet: nude shades, strapless, spring prints, but above all a lot glamor.
Who do you like more? To me, without a doubt, Amaia Salamanca.
Until next week!
